Empowerment of PWDs

Building Better Futures

At Nkolo Orthopaedics Rehabilitation Center, we believe in the transformative power of education and empowerment for young amputees and persons with disabilities (PWDs). Our dedicated programs are designed to provide not only physical rehabilitation but also the tools, resources, and support needed for individuals to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Our education initiative focuses on ensuring that the young amputees have access to quality education, enabling them to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. We enrol them to local schools and provide full school fees payment, learning materials, and tailored support that meets each child’s unique needs. By investing in their education, we are not just helping them walk again—we are giving them the opportunity to build a future where they can successfully thrive.

In addition to education, we are deeply committed to the empowerment of our PWDs, particularly those living in extreme poverty. Through our empowerment program, we strive to break the cycle of poverty by equipping individuals with the skills, knowledge and equipments they need to become self-sufficient and active participants in their communities.
